Lydden Hill Medical & Rescue Services has been formed to oversee the management and provision of all medical services supplied to Lydden Hill Race Circuit. The company was formed in 2018 and is currently located in the race circuit medical centre which acts as the headquarters for the company. The company is currently working towards Care Quality Commission registration.
Lydden Hill Medical & Rescue Services uses doctors who work within NHS settings including A&E Doctors, Anaesthetists and other specialist disciplines i.e. HEMS.
The company uses Critical Care Paramedics / Paramedic Practitioners and Paramedics all of whom work for the NHS Ambulance Services and collectively have a wealth of experience in the areas required.
All of our ambulance staff are either Technician or Emergency Care Assistant status and are currently working within the NHS or Private sector. Everyone is Blue light trained.
Our medical centre has one Major Trauma area, One two beded Treatment area and a Minors treatment/Triage area.

We will support our staff to grow by developing their skills, thereby enabling them and Lydden Hill Medical Services to deliver continual improving care and professionalism.
Within the Event Medical service, patients can range from critically ill and injured, to those with minor injury or ailment. Patients are either responded to by our rapid response vehicle or ambulance or through self-presentation to the team.
Patients are categorised as A, B or C, dependent on severity:

Category A – Life-threatening conditions where speed of response may be critical in saving life or improving outcome for the patient;

Category B – Conditions which need to be attended quickly, but which are not immediately life-threatening;

Category C – Non-Life-threatening conditions that may be appropriate for on-site treatment.
Emergency Transport Services can be provided using an ambulance for the emergency transportation of patients from the events to an appropriate hospital.
